Surgical Program

Equipping Surgical Leaders for Life-Saving Service.

The Need

Surgical access is rare across Karen State.

With few medical professionals trained to operate, treatable conditions and injuries can quickly become life-threatening. Communities in conflict-affected, remote areas urgently need skilled surgical care.

Our Approach

An advanced, hands-on surgical training program built for frontline medicine.

This 3-year postgraduate program equips Physician Associate graduates to master surgery, anesthesia, and emergency trauma care. Students build on their medical foundation while training in real-world conditions inside a jungle conflict zone.

The Result

Confident surgical leaders bringing life-saving care to the hardest places.

Graduates emerge prepared to perform essential surgeries where no other options exist. With strong medical ethics and expertise, these servant leaders are restoring hope and saving lives.

“This Surgical PA program is about more than just skills. It’s about raising strong, ethical, confident healthcare workers who can lead and serve in some of the toughest places. I see that happening already.”
