Physician Associate Program

Ready to Serve. Ready to Heal.

The Need

Skilled medical providers are urgently needed in Karen State’s remote jungle communities.

Families often travel days to reach safe care, and preventable illnesses go untreated due to conflict, displacement, and lack of trained clinicians. Local providers who understand the language and culture are essential for long-term health.

Our Approach

A rigorous 5-year PA program based on international medical standards.

We train driven Karen students to diagnose, treat, and prevent disease in resource-scarce environments. Learning through hands-on experience in real clinical settings, graduates earn a Bachelor of Science accredited by the Karen Education and Culture Department (KECD).

The Result

Compassionate Physician Associates serving their home communities.

Every graduate commits to at least five years of service in remote clinics, bringing skilled care to regions that need it most. These PA professionals are strengthening the future of healthcare across Karen State, one village at a time.

Physician Associate Student Story

“As I grew older, I realized how important health is in our lives. I saw many people in remote areas struggling to access proper healthcare. This inspired me to become a healthcare professional to address the challenges in my community. I feel blessed to be part of this program and am committed to doing my best for my patients and my people.

After graduation, I aim to be a compassionate and skilled healthcare professional. I will remain humble and do my best for my community. I know the journey will not be easy, but I have faith that everything is in God’s hands.”
