Rain Tree Clinic
The Need
RTC sits deep in the jungle, offering safe medical access to rural and displaced families. Patients travel for days to avoid military-controlled cities, and surgical teams rotate near conflict to intervene for trauma patients and vulnerable villages.
Our Approach
RTC provides hands-on medical and technical training and powers the region’s first surgical capabilities. With 24-hour access to medical care and referral transport to Thailand, high-quality healthcare is delivered to thousands of patients every year.
The Result
More than 300 staff, students, patients, and families live and learn on campus at any time. Mentorship and shared purpose are raising up a new generation of medical professionals and leaders for Karen State.
Clinical Care
Equipped for outpatient & inpatient services, surgery, lab testing, trauma care, and maternal health.
Spiritual Care
Chaplaincy, encouragement, and prayer provided to patients and their families.
Engineering Capability
Power systems, vehicle and equipment repair, supply logistics, and construction projects support hospital operations.
Local Outreach
Extending surgical care, patient transport, public health education, and hope to villages and conflict areas throughout the region.
