“I was treated at a clinic in a refugee camp before, but I wasn’t able to continue my treatment there because it was too far from my home. My uncle who lives here in Ler Doh brought me here for better treatment. I was asked by my parents to stay put in Ler Doh and to continue my treatment as needed. I feel very comfortable at the clinic because I can’t speak Burmese and the staff is able to explain and understand me in my Karen language.”

“I’ve had high blood pressure for 2 to 3 years but never got it treated properly. The staff here is kind and talks to patients nicely which motivates us to come here. We feel comfortable discussing our symptoms and medical issues because the staff shows interest in us. For the first time in my life, a doctor here laid out my treatment plan and asked me to come back for follow up appointments.”

“T-RAD clinic is not the nearest clinic from my village. We have many clinics and a hospital in between my village and T-RAD clinic but I still chose to come here because it’s more professional, and I like the staff as they are so kind to all the patients. Best thing about T-RAD is that the check-up cost is very cheap, so the majority of people can afford it easily.”
