EARTH MISSION ANNUAL REPORT 2016

“Sitting at my desk I open mail from all across the Country! It is thrilling to see how far reaching is the support of Earth Mission. I had been on the sidelines admiring the organization’s work, when I got a call to volunteer in the Earth Mission office. This came at a perfect time for me as I had retired from administrative work at Grace Episcopal Church. Working with the accounts receivable had been something I enjoyed and knew I would miss. Earth Mission needed me and I needed the volunteer spot! It has been a pleasure to see the mission grow and mature as changes have come about overseas. Dr. Mitch and Caryl continue to expand their vision in Thailand/Myanmar. With Dan and Deanna there full time, the possibilities continue with training healthcare providers, engineering training for clean water, roads, transportation, and providing education for administration. This is exemplified by students eager to learn and to carry this new knowledge back to their villages. In Pakistan, Shani and Jess are making an impact in schooling, healthcare, and developing their microfinance program.

God’s people all deserve to have what we Americans often take for granted. So many lives have been touched by the goodness of Earth Mission supporters, and I thank those who faithfully support Earth Mission with gifts of money and prayer!”

EARTH MISSION ANNUAL REPORT 2015

“We have had a very mild winter here in Arkansas. The flowers are already blooming and the trees are putting forth buds. It is the season of new life in the world around us and also within our ministry. As with any new life, there is a period of tender growth that needs the protection and nurture of those placed in the role of caretaker. We covet your prayers during this time of establishing solid foundations for these new projects. Please pray for wisdom and stamina for their leaders, so that as they grow together into greater maturity they will continue to breathe life into all that come into their circle of influence. Thank you!”

PROMPTER SEPTEMBER 2017

“Autumn has arrived and with it comes thoughts of cooler temperatures, seasonal treats (apple cider & pumpkin pie) and holiday preparations. I love this time of year. To me, it’s like a beautiful sunset before the sky begins to sparkle with stars – a time of reflection mixed with anticipation. Crisp reminders of the passing of time bring into focus the need for being deliberate in the way I spend my days because I know the night is coming – there’s a flurry of activity before a time of rest & renewal.

My prayer for you this season is that you will not miss the beauty all around you; that you will approach the tasks at hand with fresh enthusiasm; that you truly enjoy this season and all the blessings it holds; that there would be a bountiful harvest of your past labors and a thoughtful planting of fruits for the future; that you would look forward to finding ways to honor your family and friends during the upcoming holidays and experience greater freedom to be mutually blessed by each other’s uniqueness.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.” Ecclesiastes 3:11-13 NIV”
